    Once you’re done with the MAT@USC Single or Multiple Subject Credential program, you may be recommended for California preliminary teacher certification. If your goal is to teach in Missouri, your certification path will involve either becoming preliminarily certified in California, and then transferring that certification to Missouri through interstate reciprocity agreements; or applying directly to Missouri’s credentialing authority for certification. Our Student Services team will provide support and direction to help you identify the most direct and efficient path to teaching certification in Missouri.
