Once you complete the MAT@USC Single or Multiple Subject Credential program, you may be recommended for California preliminary teacher certification. If your goal is to teach in Nebraska, your certification path will involve either becoming preliminarily certified in California, and then transferring that certification to Nebraska through interstate reciprocity agreements; or applying directly to Nebraska’s credentialing authority for certification.
