Once you have completed the basic course requirements and have finished the MAT@USC Single or Multiple Subject Credential program, you are eligible to be recommended for a California teaching certification. If your goal is to teach in your home state of Oregon, there are multiple steps you can take upon graduation to become certified. You can either apply to have your California teacher certification transferred to Oregon through interstate reciprocity, or apply directly to Oregon ‘s certification board for to earn your Oregon teacher certification.
