Upon acquiring the required skills and demonstrating an adequate grasp on the subject matter and coursework, students who completed the MAT@USC Single or Multiple Subject Credential program will be eligible for preliminary California teacher certification. This can become a South Carolina teaching certification by either transferring a California certification to South Carolina through interstate reciprocity, or applying directly for your South Carolina teacher certification. Our Student Services representatives will work closely with you to ensure that any confusion or questions that you may have over this process.
