Deborah Hazelton
Deborah Hazelton has been a teacher/coordinator/administrator/ consultant in the California public schools for many years. She has worked and studied extensively with Dr. Sandra Kaplan, USC, and Elinor Ruth Smith. She is currently the President of California Association for the Gifted. Deborah earned her Master in Educational Psychology from the University of Connecticut in 2008. Currently, Deborah is the co-founder and administrator of The Academy Learning Center in Solana Beach, an innovative center dedicated to stimulating creative thought.
At this time, Deborah teaches three Guided Practice Seminars with MAT@USC two in secondary English Language Arts and one in History/Social Studies.
