Edward Antonios Trimis

Edward Trimis, Ed.D., adjunct professor, Rossier School of Education, University of Southern California. Dr. Trimis completed his Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership at USC in 2009 and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and advanced degrees in Music Education (MA), Educational Administration (MA), and administrative services and teaching credentials from California State University, Los Angeles. Trimis’ career includes 15 years as a teacher/12 years as an administrator in Southern California including Berendo Middle School, Huntington Park High School, John H. Francis Polytechnic High School, Manual Arts High School, City of Angels School, and administrative positions in the LAUSD central offices. Trimis was previously an adjunct professor at Los Angeles Trade-Tech College, Pasadena City College, and the University of Phoenix. Dr. Trimis has been interviewed or his programs featured in the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Daily News, Foothill Leader, United Teacher, Music Educators Journal, Teaching Music, Fox Television News, ABC News, KPCC Radio, and has received numerous awards for his work including the Bravo Award (Music Center of LA), Music Educators Association Teacher of the Year Award (LACMEA), Outstanding Educator Award (UTLA), and the High School Principal of the Year Award (ACSA, Region XVI).
