We are excited to announce the launch of our new partner website, Teach.com! In an effort to continue our mission and help achieve our goals as the first non-profit school of education to join the 100Kin10 STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) initiative we are thrilled to release a website targeted to teachers around the nation. As part of the initiative we are committed to meet President Barack Obama’s two-fold challenge to train 10,000 STEM teachers in two years and 100,000 new STEM teachers in 10 years across the U.S.
“We are thrilled to launch Teach.com to inspire and provide aspiring teachers in STEM, or any subject area, with information they need to start their path towards a teaching career,” said USC Rossier Dean Karen Symms Gallagher.
Teach.com is a comprehensive educational resource dedicated to discovering, discussing and encouraging great teaching around the world. If you are just starting your teaching career or you are a veteran teacher, visit our website to learn the Why? Who? What? Where? and How? behind the teaching profession. We’d also love to connect with you; follow us on Twitter @Teachdotcom and like us on Facebook!
“Rossier is committed to graduating the best prepared teachers, both in STEM fields, which are a priority for our country, and in any and all classrooms,” said Melora Sundt, USC Rossier Associate Dean for Academic Programs. “Teach.com is a great additional resource for teachers.”
