Jeffrey Kealing
Jeffrey Kealing is a PhD graduate of the USC Rossier School of Education with a concentration in International and Intercultural Education. He has been teaching in the MAT and MAT TESOL programs for both online and on-campus cohorts since 2009. In the online program he regularly teaches the 516 Framing course and the 572 course “Teaching in an International and Intercultural Context”. He has also taught courses at USC Rossier in course and curriculum design, educational assessment, teaching methodologies, and oral and written communication.
Jeffrey also has considerable experience in international development programs and research projects. He recently completed a major teacher training program in Indonesia, and has done outreach and project work in Thailand, Japan, Vanuatu and Romania. His current research interests include empowered teaching pedagogies, English as an instrument for development, and learner-centered curricula.
