John Robinson
John Keith Robinson is an instructional coach for the Language Acquisition Branch of the Los Angeles
Unified School District, AVID co-coordinator at Abraham Lincoln High School, and adjunct professor
for the MAT@USC. Robinson received a doctorate from USC, masters’ degrees from California State
University at Dominguez Hills and Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary, and a bachelors degree from
University of California at San Diego.
Robinson has thirty-two years of experience in the field of education. He has taught K-12 in parochial
and public schools (K-12), religious education in parishes, and philosophy and religion at the community
college level.
For eighteen years Robinson was an ordained clergyman in the Lutheran Church of America. Since 1999,
he has been an ordained clergyman in the Eastern Orthodox Church of America.
