Karen Marie Anderson

Karen Marie Anderson

Karen currently teaches a Dual Immersion Spanish class at Santa Monica Blvd. Community Charter School in Hollywood. After graduating from Northwestern University with a degree in Latin American Studies and Performance Studies, she worked as an actor and in the business world for ten years before deciding to become a teacher. Through the MAT program at USC, she became involved in working with Dr. Sandra Kaplan in Gifted Education, and has been a demonstration teacher and session facilitator at many teacher training institutes. As a result of growing up in Mexico City, Karen attended a dual language school and continues to work developing dual language programs in Los Angeles.
