Hi! I am Maneesha Mankad and I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I used to work as a Biostatistician but chose to stay home after my children were born. I got involved in volunteering at their schools and the Parent Teacher Organisation, as a Girl Scout leader, a Science Olympiad coach and by teaching dance and in the process, discovered the joy of working with children.
Over the years, I have developed a passion for education of children and teaching gives me the perfect opportunity to pursue my passion and give back to the community. I chose MAT at USC for the flexibility it offers in pursuing my Master’s degree, given my busy schedule, but have also discovered many other advantages such as learning from the perspective and experience of students around the country.
