Paige McCord
Paige McCord is an educational researcher and practitioner. Her current work includes consulting for public school districts, as well as teaching in the MAT@USC program. McCord specializes in the field of gifted education, particularly curriculum and pedagogy appropriate for advanced students. She has served many rolls in the pre-service teacher preparation process including being a master teacher, student teacher supervisor, and university methods instructor. In addition she has provided professional development to in-service teachers in both the public and private sectors. Originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, she is also an alumnus of Rossier. She earned a B.S. in Education, a M.S. in Educational Psychology and Instructional Technology, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership. Key areas of research include characteristics of teachers of the gifted, curriculum and pedagogy for gifted students, and teacher education in multicultural societies.
