Watch the MAT@USC graduation live!


On Friday, May 13th, over 400 Master of Arts in Teaching Students (both online and on-campus) from the Rossier School of Education will walk at graduation at the University Park Campus specifically in Founders Park. If you are a guest attending graduation, you MUST have a ticket. The USC Main Commencement will begin at 8:00AM Pacific time while the Rossier Master’s Commencement Ceremony will begin at 11:00AM Pacific time. We are excited to welcome our commencement speaker, John Deasy, superintendent of Los Angeles Unified School District. You can view the graduation live on the Rossier School of Education website.


 

Here are a few details you’ll want to make sure you know if you are attending:

  • YOUR GUESTS MUST HAVE A TICKET TO ATTEND GRADUATION
  • 10:00 a.m. Master’s and M.A.T. candidates line up in Hutton Park-adjacent to Founders Park (See map)
  • 11:00 a.m. Processional begins for ceremony
  • 12:45 p.m. Ceremony ends
  •  


     

    PARKING AND SEATING
    Parking is free on Thursday and Friday on a first-come, first-served basis. On Thursday parking is available at any campus lot. The closest parking structure to the Rossier Ceremony is Parking Lot X.

    On Friday, we recommend you arrive before 7:00 a.m. Guests with disabilities should enter campus through Gate #2, located on Figueroa Street, and be dropped off in front of the Widney Alumni House. Cars will then be directed to Parking Structure 1 at the corner of Figueroa Street and Exposition Boulevard.

    Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis with ticket at Rossier Ceremonies

  • Please inform your guests that NO STROLLERS OR UMBRELLAS ARE ALLOWED.
  • There is a designated section for guests in wheelchairs. Only one other person can sit in this section with the guest
  • Everyone that needs a seat is required to have a ticket. Children age 3 and under may sit on laps.
