We have a new website!

If you’ve visited our site before, you may have noticed that things look a bit different here today.  We just relaunched this website with a new look that prominently features one of the program’s best assets: our students!

As the next generation of amazing teachers, we believe the MAT@USC represents the future of American education.  In just a short year and a half, the MAT@USC has become the fastest growing teacher preparation program in the country with more than 1,000 students in 46 states!

There are currently only a handful of students featured on our interactive home page map, but we are adding more every day.  If you’d like to be considered as one of our student spotlights, please feel free to submit your bio and photo to me at Alexa Scordato at alexa.scordato@usc.edu.  Also let me know if you’re interested in contributing to this blog!  In the coming months, we’ll be looking to increase the type of content we include on here, including faculty interviews, questions from prospective students, and of course, more of the unique voices and stories that our students have to share.

Please feel free to have a look around, share the site with your friends, and let us know what you think!  Fight on!

I should probably contribute – being from Oklahoma City and all… I can contribute another pin to the map, too!

I am constantly on the lookout for innovative ways to research, publish, share… This site looks great, love the blog format… and Alexa, take a look at this tool: http://paper.li/uscteacher

    I love Paper.li, Margaret! Thanks for creating/sharing a @uscteacher version.

There's so much we can share and learn from each other. I think the biggest challenge we have is the number of channels there are to distribute all of this content. Hopefully between Twitter, this blog, sites like paper.li, our newsletters, etc. we can reach everyone!
